Product Description
15 year old music student Sherry Williams dreams of having a singing career. She also idolizes her older sister Josephine, who has gone to New York to be a Broadway stage star. When she decides to make a surprise visit to New York to bask in her sister's success, she discovers that Josephine is not a top Broadway actress, but "Bubbles Barton" a burlesque queen in a seedy nightclub. Soon Sherry sets about ensuring that her sister becomes a success in legitimate theater, roping a reluctant producer in her schemes. Starring Jane Powell, Ralph Bellamy, Constance Moore, Morton Gould and his orchestra, Arthur Treacher, Louise Beavers and Ruth Tobey. Directed by Arthur Lubin. (1945 ? 92 Min ?B&W)
